Well-cared-for colored lenses stay comfortable and safe. Here are the essential rules to follow every time. They do not replace the advice of an eye care professional, whom you should see before first use.
Before putting them in
- Wash your hands with soap, rinse and dry them well before touching your lenses.
- Check that the lens is not damaged or inside out.
- Put your lenses in before make-up, and take them out before removing make-up.
Cleaning and storage
- Only use fresh contact lens solution every time: never reuse old solution.
- Never use tap water, bottled water or saliva.
- Rinse the case with solution, let it air-dry and replace it regularly.
While wearing them
- Do not sleep in your lenses unless a professional tells you otherwise.
- Take them out before swimming (pool, sea, shower).
- Never share your lenses, not even with a friend: they are personal.
Respect the wear period
The wear period starts when you open the blister, even if you do not wear the lenses every day: 1 month for Wonderlook, 6 months for 3D Colors. Once it is over, throw them away.
Warning signs
If you have redness, pain, discomfort, watery eyes or blurred vision, take your lenses out immediately and see an eye care professional. Do not put them back in before their advice.
